Gilles Vétion is a CNRS engineer in charge of biomarker analyses in the LECOB. He has a long experience in the development of methods to extract lipids, carbohydrates and proteins from complex marine matrixes (sediment, fauna, plant debris, biofilms) and analyze them by spectrophotometry, spectrofuorimetry and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
